The POPP siren is self-powered siren for Z-Wave security systems. With its large solar panel can be used without additional power supply or batteries. The siren can be installed at any location outside of the house and can be controlled using the Z-Wave technology. Thus it extends the security systems, and draws attention in the event of alarm activation.
The siren emits a loud noise (105 dBm) in parallel with a strobe light. In addition, the camera has a self-protection. Indeed, the act of removing the main block of its location immediately triggers the siren and sends a sabotage attempt alarm the main Z-Wave controller where the siren is associated. All communications between the Z-Wave controller and the siren is encrypted and secure to protect against diversion.
