The Remotec ZXT-600 is a Z-Wave to IR bridge that uses Z-Wave Plus technology to control air conditioners by receiving Z-Wave commands and translating them into infrared controls. With its built-in IR (library) database and stored in the cloud, the ZXT-600 can control different makes and models of air conditioners around the world.
The ZXT-600 is a secure Z-Wave Plus device. A Z-Wave Plus controller supporting the security framework must be used to fully utilize the product. The ZXT-600 is a Z-Wave slave device, it depends on the controller to configure the particular brand of air conditioner with a correct IR code. Each controller or home automation box has a different user interface for installation.
